What could I do with my room?

I'm a teen guy and I need ideas for a Maroon,white, and grey, look. I have maroon bedding and like a lot of maroon stuff, my room is an ugly light blue, and I have a lot of built in shelves on one wall of my room. I was thinking about painting the inside of the maroon, but the edges between them white. I have ugly carpet, but I'm getting some new soon. One wall of my room as my TV, etc. the other has a Dresser, and the other has a desk, and the wall with shelves has the bed. I have a big open space between my dresser and desk, that I don't know what to do with, and the middle of it is a corner. Also,there's nowhere to sit in my room, so people have to sit on my bed. I need like inexpensive ideas with what to do with my room, because it's not very convenient, and I only have like 50 dollars.

Shop the local resale shops or go to garage sales.  You'd be surprised what you'll find.  I know in my area Target give the Good Will the clearance stuff after a while.  I know you'll be able to find seating.  Go to the local home store that sells oops paint.  It's cheap, usually $5, and if you don't like it, you can do it over.  Good luck!
