I was thinking about baseball cards since I have a ton, but I don't think it's really profitable. Does anyone else have any suggestions? I read "eBay for Dummies" and it talked about selling seriously on eBay, but it really didn't answer what to sell.

  12. whatever you sell, you should consider a paypal account, which means you need a checking or savings account, which means you need money right away.

check the prices of your cards that you do have on ebay to see what the market will bear.

  13. Good advises does not come free nor they are cheap. In any event Ebay will not allow you to trade on their site buy and/or sell while you are under 18 since law does not allow minors to enter in to legally binding contracts. Just wait until you are 18 come to YA and post this question, if I still will be around here, I promise that I will give you a very good advise.

  14. Sell them!!

  15. There are probably other establishments where you could get more money for your baseball card(s) or entire collection.  Try a hobby store, or search the internet for sites that buy, sell, and trade sport's memorabilia.

As far as what you can sell as a 14 year-old, you can sell anything that anyone else is selling, so long as you have the means to ship it.  Do a little research to find out what's been selling lately, whether it's clothing, bags, sheets, toys, whatever you're interested in buying and selling.  You need to have money to be able to purchase whatever you're going to sell...  A lot of people buy things at stores like T.J. Maxx, or stores that sell factory-seconds.

  16. How about skateboards? research the kids that have them, find out their gripes about the board and maybe learn how to build a better board, you never know, you may be the next great board master. just an idea.

basically just find out what all your peers want and need and figure out how to supply it to them.

Good luck kid! don't let nothing stop you!

  17. on ebay you sell anything you want..some things might sell faster and more than others it depends on the item you are selling..you can try selling baseball cards because there are a lot of people that still collect those stuff. but that might take a longer time to sell compared to an item that is used by everyone now a days.. you can also do some research and look at ebay what sells the most and that might help you.

hope that helps a little;-) good luck

  22. I would suggest going to garage sales and yard sales on the weekend and selling the stuff on eBay. I make decent money doing this. I'm not going to lie and say i make like a 1000 a weekend or anything. But I usually make at least $50-$150 a weekend. Just depends on what you find. If you are interested in trying this, I wrote a book that has examples and tips in it to get you started. http://www.garage-sale-items.com

    Good Luck!
