  1. I know this really good place that you should work at. It's a Lollita store called Baby the Stars Shine Bright. It's a really cool store to work at.

  2. If you are planning to work there you will need a work visa and usually you need experience in that field to even get the visa in the first place. Most places will only hire you if you are a citzen and can speak Japanese fluently.. (not just, excuse me where is the toilet?)

If you really want to get over there go on a studen visa and see what's out there. Perhaps take a year of school over there.

  3. It's possible to get a work visa in Japan as a fashion designer, so that might be a good career path. You'd do the same thing to get the job domestically. Build up a portfolio, sent it in for review.

Retail store work isn't considered a special skill job, so it's not possible to get a work visa as a boutique employee, unless it's a brand boutique with their own designers. If it's a foreign brand shop, it might be possible to get a job and work visa as an import manager.

The first destination to consider probably should be Tokyo. A corporate job might be preferable to a designer boutique job on the assumption they'll have better lawyers who won't mess up your work visa application.
