What could be causing my irritated throat?
My throat isn't sore, its just irritated. A couple of weeks ago I had a strep throat/infective pharyngitis infection, which I was on antibiotics for, and cleared up, but i'm not sure if thats the cause. I'm 19, a non-smoker, and in generally healthy condition.
I also tend to cough only when i wake up in the morning and that's it. I don't have mucus in my cough and throughout the rest of the day. It has been a week now with this irritated throat.
Could this be caused by something serious such as throat cancer, or is it possibly caused by something else?
If my throat doesn't sore(just irritated), it doesn't mean that it is a strep throat right???
