Over the last couple days I have had some slight pain and discomfort in my lower left side groin area that also slightly hurts on the backside of my upper left leg area as well. I have felt my left t******e and there is no pain in that area (thank god lol). The pain is coming a few inches above my left s*****m area and the backside of my upper left leg. It's nothing unbearable, but annoying to say the least. Could I have possibly pulled something? any ideas as to what this could be is appreciated. thanks!

  1. heavy lifting  can definitely do this ....as can lifting improperly....sounds like a hernia....please get it checked asap

  2. Sounds as though you may have pulled or strained a muscle.  If it continues much longer I would have it checked out.  You may have a hernia or an infection of some sort.  Hope you feel better soon and good luck..:o)

  3. I think you might have the start of a hernia.  This type of hernia is called an inguinal hernia.  Your best bet would be to see your doctor about it and arrange for surgery or you could let it go for a while until the pain becomes excruciating and then have it repaired then.  The choice is up to you.  Whatever you decide it would be best for you to know exactly what it is you have before any attempt at treating anything.  Good luck to you.

  4. Probably a strain or an infection.  I had something like this that lasted about a week and then went away and hasn't come back.
