although I am picking a few it seems some peppers as well as some leaves are being eaten by a critter or bird.

  1. check for ants and maybe for possums,  and make a spray in the blender using, 1 tsp of dish soap, 1 tsp canola oil, some garlic cloves, half an onion and chili powder, mix it with one gallon of water and spray it on your chili plant.

    Good luck!

  2. maybe a Tomato worm, do you have tomatoes planted?

I had a whole plant eaten by one this  year, but mine was just a green or red pepper
