What could be signs that a person needs glasses?

I often have trouble seeing the tv and other stuff from a distance.When I read or work on the computer things are blurry and things go in and out of focus does this sound like I need glasses?

    This could be a number of things. Your first sentence shows that you might have shortsightness or astigmatism. As for the second one, if you are above the age of 40 you should get tested for presbyopia, as these are the early symptoms. Presbyopia is a condition that affects everyone, and is a natural process of aging, so nothing to worry about if that's the case. Alternitavly, it can be astigmatism, a condition in which the cornea is not round, rather shaped like a football, meaning that light misses the retina. Low levels of astigmatism pretty much fit your symptoms.

    Either way, you should set up an appointment with an optometrist, as it does sound like you need glasses (or you might have some sort of optical disease. Either way, you should set up an appointment).
