What could be some good initiatives to come up with?

Like hypothetical new laws, and reasonable, like there should be a new government funded service fopr something, etc.?

No new government-funded services.  In fact, we should get rid of a lot of the government-funded services.

Here's an idea for an initiative: have the free market develop a new currency that's actually backed by something.

In Texas to get the older smoking cars off the road, Texas is going to give a 3000 dollar voucher towards a new car or new used car.  

They are currently working out the kinks so that fraud cannot come into play with the vouchers and transaction.
