  1. My favorite. A shopping center on the corner. So there's no street parking. The center has like 6-9 stores with just enough  parking for employees and 1/2 customer per store.


  2. urban cities in the usa, don not have parking areas designated for long term parking. only for short term with high fees. thats urban planning for autos in the big cities. mass transit was developed to resolve parking space.

  3. Too much reliance on cars.  (one person per car usually)

    Not enough parking areas.  (car parks or accommodation)

    Preference against public transport.

    Some parking well over allotted times.

    Parking for preference rather than necessity

    Unwillingness to carpool

  4. Too many cars, not enough spaces.

    Duh.

  5. high popluation densities

    too many cars and not enough spaces

    discourteous behavior by those using limited parking spaces

    (taking up more than one space per vehicle)

  6. no free parking too many cars on the road.

  7. Too many female drivers?
