What could be the best option for us? please help!?

actually I have been in relationship and living with my partner for over 1 year we are commited to a long term relationship. but actually we have had problems when it comes to find the right place to live, he is american and I am from a foreign country, I cannot live legally in USA bc same s*x marriage is not approved by the goverment, and in my country life can be easier, but what we provably make in 4 weeks he can make it in his country in only 2 weeks. the problem is I cannot live legally in the USA bc I only have a tourist visa. We were thinking about moving to Canada, but we dont know many options. we're hoping The Uniting American Families Act passes so I could legally move there.

Marry in California or MA.

Actually you can legally marry in Mass. and Cali. in the US now. But I think you have to be a resident in the state for 5 years before you can do that because there were people who would just go there to get married and then leave. I highly suggest focusing on becoming a US citizen first if you plan to stay here... that's more important. Marriage can wait, your man will always be there. If all else fails... there's always the Netherlands. lol

Unfortunately, under the present conditions, you can't have your cake and eat it too.  You have to decide which is most important to you.  I do not condone this though I am not g*y.  I believe g**s should have all the same rights as everyone else.  Good luck.  I hope you are able to find a suitable compromise.
