I recently started using this Crest mouthwash...but I had used it the night before. And right before my mouth got all crazy on me I had kissed my boyfriend. Any thoughts? It's really painful, it hurts to eat and brush teeth.

  1. Allergic reaction, do not use this product again take note of the ingredients so you never buy anything with the same thing in it and go to the doctors if it does not settle down, don't leave it too long either, some reactions can get worse over time, if you can't get to a doctors go stright to the hospital.

  2. painful and swollen gums are warning signs of gum disease, yes you need to get to the dentist right away. your dentist will check on your gum condition and recommend gum disease treatments.  in the meantime, you might consider using an all natural oral care product to keep the gum disease from progression, this will help you clean the mouth and keep it salivated as well as keep bad bacteria in the mouth under control. and since it is all natural it is not harmful unlike other oral care products that causes further damage to dental problems because they contain harsh ingredients. continue having good oral hygiene, it can really help. visit http://www.oramd.co.uk for more helpful tips on gum care.

  3. I'm not a medical person but it sounds to me as if you're having some type of allergic reaction - maybe to some meds or food.  Then again, maybe you've caught something from your boyfriend.  Either way, I think it's worth a call to your dentist or general practitioner just to be on the safe side!

  4. if u kissed ur boyfriend if he has gingivitis u can easily get it or if he has a mouth problem.

what you should do is schedule a appointment with your dentist because some mouth pain can be extreamly serious.

  5. Probably your mouthwash caused the swelling of your gums as an allergic reaction. Your gums becomes inflamed and when left untreated swollen gums may progress and develop into gingivitis.

Observe superior oral care by brushing and flossing regularly and opt for natural mouth rinse such as using a salt and warm water solution, it can effectively speed up the healing of your swollen gums and prevent gum disease from occurring. Seeing your dentist is a better idea. Your dentist can assess your oral health condition better.
