  1. Lack of sleep.

    Stress.

    Nutrition (Big one here)

Substance abuse.  (Been there done that, so I know for sure)

    Lack of exercise.

    Things to improve it:

    Sleep good.

    Release stress.

Eat good and drink plenty of fluid.  Take some fish oil pills, or foods high on Omega-3 fatty acids.

    Exercise.

DO NOT DO DRUGS.  No alcohol, No weed, no nothing.  It may cause permanent damage.  Trust me, my brain could have been better.

Play mental games like Sudoku, or any other logic game.

  2. you could have alot of things on your mind

    be tired

ill health, allergies, lack of vitamines in your body

any of these things can contribute to memory loss

  3. have you had any trauma to the head? a car accident, or a bad fall, or something? that brain injury can cause short term memory loss. if that's not it, i would talk to the doctor- sometimes its a simple thing like a medication, or a supplement- but i wouldn't leave it too long. you are too young for this to be happening.

  4. Major causes are alcohol usage, even in moderation. Drug usage, both illegal and prescribed. Head trauma-accidents. Migraines, seizures, and depression. Those are usually the main causes.

The best thing to do is to make an appointment at the doctor and have an MRI done to rule out other possible issues to be on the safe side.

The thing with seizures is sometimes the main symptom is memory loss, due to the fact they are petite seizures and unless someone has seen someone having one, they just think you are not paying attention. Good Luck

  5. same thing happens to me.

    i'm 16

    it could be brain fog

Both depression and anxiety can cause a kind of “brain fog” that makes it difficult to concentrate and pay attention to things. As a result, it is harder for depressed or anxious people to store information in short term memory.

Low blood sugar levels can also cause short-term memory loss. Blood sugar can become too low as a result of not eating or by medical problems like diabetes.

Hormonal imbalances, particularly estrogen swings during menopause, are associated with memory problems as well. Head trauma, brain injury and brain tumors are other causes of memory loss. Also, alcohol and drug abuse can damage or destroy brain cells, affecting a person’s ability to remember things.

    hope this helps!

  6. stress, fatigue, depression-----I know what you mean, I am the same way but i found it is hereditary because my mom has always been that way.
