What could be the market for VHS tapes? Could they be used to gear drive something?

There are some VHS tapes that are valuable if they are rare and hard-to-find video tapes. There are collectors who want titles that are not available on and may never be released on DVD or newer formats.  Once a film is available on DVD though, a VHS tape generally becomes worthless.

If you cannot sell them, consider sharing them. There is always someone out there looking for a good movie to watch...as long as they have a VCR. Sharing them would be better than simply throwing them away. You can sometimes donate them to retirement homes, children's homes and/or hospitals.

I'm not sure what else they could be used for!
