It’s a while that my mom‘s face turns into red (not always). Something similar to a reaction to a food. But it’s not that anyway. Skin and internal doctors didn’t see anything special in the blood and other test. She’s 47 years old. What could be the reasons?

  1. Rosacea is a possibility, but so is eating too much Thiamin or a drug interaction. It could also be hot flashes. Has she seen a dermatologist?  Internists are great at running tests, but they also have to know which tests to run.  It could be any number of things. Link below to other causes of facial skin flushing.  Good luck!

There are facial moisturizing lotions that actually cut down on the redness of the skin. I use Purpose Anti-Redness moisturizer with SPF 30.

  2. scientists have actually not found the answer to this redness of cheeks. but they kno the ...

    cause:

    - cold wind

    - shortage of breath

    - hot tempreture (in ur case maybe of food? / too chilly or too much spice's?)

47..hmm.... maybe the underlining of skin has become sore? vains are more visable wen ur older so maybe its small little red vains.?

  3. Actually their are a few reasons for this. One the cold. which causes the blood to rush to the surface of the skin to keep the internal temperature warm.Another possibility could be Rosacea.Which is quite common and treatable.

  5. Itchy rash is a common symptom for skin allergy. In fact, the true reason for allergic reaction to some substances or food - is the immune response of over-active immune system.

Normally, the immune system acts as the body's defense against invading agents such as bacteria and viruses. But in the case of an allergic reaction, the immune system is responding to a false alarm.

Allergy develops after repeated exposure to the causative allergen.

When the allergy-prone person first comes into contact with an allergy-causing substance, this allergen is treated by the immune system as an invader and it mobilizes to attack by starting the process of sensitization, that may take up to 6 weeks to develop. During this process white blood cells produce Immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies.
