I've been on birthcontrol for about 7 years now and have never had any breakthrough bleeding, but all of the sudden I'm starting to bleed after having s*x. Only after s*x and then it stops (and it isn't because we are being rough or that I'm not wet or anything like that.) I've been with my fiance for 3 years now and this has never happened before. What could be causing this?

  1. This also happens to me randomly, but I have polycystic ovaries, so that is why I get it.

Also, my doctor once told me, it could simply be that the lining of your womb is getting thicker as your period is due (does it usually happen before your period is due?) and the friction of s*x is causing it to come away.

I would ask your doctor as it could be something else, or maybe you need to be checked for polycystic ovaries or something similar, and its always worth knowing what is happening with your body.

This article also says its a sign of pregnancy!... http://www.drspock.com/faq/0,1511,8279,0...

    Hope that helps
