  1. to locate the problem put yellow food dye in with the power steering fuild. you will find the leak fast look for the yellow.  works great i do it all the time takes the guesswork out of it.

  2. it's a pwer steering rack and the two hoses run down the back of the motor. needs the rack replaced they all did

  3. You probably have a leaky hose. The high pressure power steering hose on my car blew recently with it being 14 years old with 126K miles on it. Wasn't an expensive hose (I think about $20...maybe more) but it did take my dad about 2 hours to put it on thanks to my cramped engine bay.

  4. i don't have a diagram available, but most likely what the problem you have is that the steering rack is giving you a sign that its not going to last too much longer, so its either keep putting fluid in it or let it run out and have manual steering (not recommended) i will however be able to supply a round about figure of about how much it would cost in parts and about how long it should take a dealership to do...

it might be around 500 dollars for the rack, and about 2.5 hours for a dealership to do it for you.
