What could be wrong with me? ?

My period has been messed up for some reason this month, its usually 28 day cycle, well my last period was July 8th, and didnt get it until August 15th. I thought maybe I was pregnant but I got negative results, and than I got my period..Also before I got my period is was uncomfortable to have s*x..Could it be a cyst or something? Any ideas? I cant get to the Obgyn for a couple of weeks.

this is normal.

most women don't have a completely normal cycle for several years after they first start, and even then it sometimes is off.

going to your obgyn is a good idea just in case, but it is unlikely anything is wrong.

The same thing happened to me when I had mild vaginitis. If you are itching, take an over the counter test to see if you have a yeast infection.  If not, hold out for the doctor.  If it is vaginitis, you just need some cream or an antibiotic.  It is slightly expensive, but not painful and the infection will go away quickly.
