What could be wrong with my 5 year old female beagle?

She seems to be stiff when she walks.. She eats her food just fine and goes to the bathroom just fine. When i let her out to go to the bathroom she goes down the stairs just fine and if she see's a squirrel she chaises it just like she use to do. but when she is inside she just lays around and doesn't try to move. It's like she is in pain but i don't know why.

You could try giving glocosamine chondroitin supplement treats.  They sell them at Wal-Mart.  It really helped my Aunt and Uncle's dog.

It could be the on set of arthritis. Try putting her food and water higher up so she does not have to bind down to eat or drink. Sometimes it helps.

Why don't you take her to the vet and have her checked out.

your dog might have arthritis. Your vet could probably tell u more than anyone else could though.
