I have a cat I say she is probably around 9yrs old, She is really good cat, she just started this like two days ago, I don't know what's wrong with her, her tail is like on the left side it don't move that much usually when I pet her back it would go up, her tail don't even move, or go up it just go to side to side, and it's really fat at the top could she have broke it? I don't know how she would have done it, But then she don't wanna do anything just lay in one place she did go to the litter box, so she does go to the bathroom ok, But I'm just worried about her she my little baby, And She was downstairs, Also she was downstairs the entire day, she wanted to stay down there and lay in a few places, But I gave her some water, and she wanted to drink it like crazy, so I let her have some, and she just layed around again, I did not like her being down there all night, so I carried her up stairs she don't like being picked up all the time but she left me pick her up with no problems, And also the thing is though I don't get is when I was peting her and etc, She usually rolls over and be really cute, and stuff but when i pet her she was not like that she tryed to roll over, but she act like she could not what could be wrong? she is a good cat and she gets treated really really good I love her, Just wish I knew what could be wrong with her?

  1. Obviously something is wrong. Way too difficult to say without examining the cat.  I would strongly suggest you get her to a vet as soon as possible.  Cats tend to go hide and isolate when feeling sick or injured which is what I read in your post.

  2. I don't know if something is wrong with her tail. At 9 years old, there might be other problems occurring. Take her to the vet and have diagnostic tests done. If she keeps drinking a lot of water, she could be dehydrated or it could be diabetes. If she is still eating ok and using the litter box, that is a good sign. Older cats tend not to be as active and sleep a lot more. I hope she is ok, I know you are worried about her. The vet will help your cat.

  3. i honestly can not tell you what exactly is wrong. the best advice is to take her to a vet as soon as you can to make sure there is nothing wrong. also keep in mind, 9 years old is old for a cat!
