  1. Hmm I suggest you talk to your doctor one more time about it. Maybe it's just a problem with the muscle or perhaps something a bit more serious ( a tumor? ) but I don't want to worry you. Talk with your mom or someone you trust and maybe try another doctor...

It's just weird you're 20. If you were 40, it would be more normal, I guess. Your doctor shouldn't ignore your pain :)

    be cool xD

  2. This could relate to several things, it could be a trapped nerve, or cartilage or tendon damage. Enquire to see if there is any history of osteo- arthritis in your family. You need to get it across to your doctor that you are in pain and you require some kind of treatment and don't let him brush you off. Until you get this problem sorted out, I would cut out the gymnastics as you could be causing more damage.

  3. i have the exact same problem!

at first i thought it was from running; but i stopped for a week and it still randomly killed.

icing it every night helps a bit-

sometimes it seems like the humidity level can cause it to hurt more too.

sorry, this isn't a clear answer..i haven't found a solution to my hip either.

so i suggest icing & doing that 'hoochie mama' stretch, wear you lean to your right hip.
