What could be wrong with my phone?

My phone was working this after noon. I got home and an hour later, I took my phone out and the screen was black. I could not turn it on. I plugged the charger into it and it said "Unable to charge.'' What does this mean? How can my phone break all of a sudden? Is my battery dead?

-The charger could be bad

-The phone could be defective

-The battery could be defective



Hard to say which one it is. Try taking the battery and sim card (if you have a sim) for 20 minutes. Put them back in the phone and see if your phone turns on.  You might have to take your phone to your local service provider store. Someone that can narrow the problem down and see if it is one of those problems I mentioned.   Ask to have your battery tested out. If it turns out to be the battery, then you need a new battery. Ask to have a new charger on your phone. If it turns out to be the charger, then you need a new charger. If it turns out to be the phone then you can try to do warranty exchange and get another phone.
