Question:

What could be wrong with my step son?

Yesterday morning my step son threw up. We called him out of school and he was fine the whole day. He did not get sick again nor did he act sick. This morning, the same thing happened. He went to get his breakfast and before he could eat he had to run to the trash and started throwing up again (alot). He DOES NOT have a fever and told me he feels fine & does not feel sick. Both of his parents are at work but his mom is trying to leave work early to take him to the doctor.

I am just curious what it could be?

  1. idk

  2. If he feels fine other than the throwing up it could just be nerves. Talk to him about school and home and see if there is something bothering him. Just let him know he can talk to you if there is something bothering him and encourage him that being nervous about school is normal. He may say nothing is wrong at first, but if the vomiting continues keep pushing, he will eventually come around and talk about it.

  3. He could be stressing about something...is there a test in a class perhaps?    Or it could be something medical.

  4. sounds like morning sickness

    lol

it could be soooo many different things. just wait and take him to the dr. before you stress yourself out worrying about what it could be

  5. He's just trying to get out of school.

  6. He could have a stomach bug or is so excited/nervous about school it makes him sick.  Good luck.

  7. Sounds like he's nervous, probably about going to school. Ask him if something at/about school is bothering him - or tell his mom/dad you think this might be it. (In case he'd be more comfortable talking to one of them.)

  8. prob just a stomach bug the doc will prob tell him to drink gatoraid to keep him hydrated and let it run it course...and if hes actually throwing up hes not trying to get outta school....

  9. It could be some sort of bug.  The flu can last 7-10 days.  It also could be anxiety about school.

  10. he doesnt have the flu or a "bug".  something may be bothering him at school like a bully, etc and it's his nerves, could be something he's eating for breakfast, or he may be over eating at breakfast.  There's a lot of possibilities.
