What could cause EXTREME period bleeding day after first time having s*x?

I had s*x for the first time yesterday. I got my period today and it is EXTREMELY heavy! I have been changing my pad every 30 mins because the bleeding is so heavy. I am worried and I don't know whats happening.

Well when you first have s*x you have to break the hymen and that causes some bleeding.
