Question:

What could cause diarrhea and vomiting in a cat?

My indoor cat disappeared yesterday and it wasn't until 10pm that I FINALLY found him. I searched the whole neighborhood including people's yards and even called for him but couldn't hear him call back as he usually does and couldn't hear his bells either so I figured someone must've let him in their house for awhile.

Today he has thrown up at least 4 times - both bile and food and he has had the runs. He is otherwise normal - eating, drinking, being his usual self. Should I be seriously worried about this or wait it out to see if it passes?

  1. just feed your cat boiled chicken/fish and rice for a couple of days until the diarrhea stop,if it does persists then there is a possibility he has eaten something that doesn't agree with him,or who ever may have had him as fed him something that's has upset his stomach,if it carries on in the next 24 hrs, seek medical attention

  2. You need to bring him to a vet.
