  1. You should call your internist just to be sure.   Make note if it's old blood (dark colored) or new bright red blood.  Your internist might ask.  I hope you're ok, take care!

Try WebMD and click on the human figure to the side, answer some questions, possible diagnoses will show up.

  2. Umm... idk what could cause it, but that's really not good. I'd call a doctor right away and see what they think.

  3. Sometimes coughing really hard can burst a few blood vessels in your throat. That's not serious and is not an emergency.   If it is not a large amount, and it doesn't happen frequently, you should be O:K.  If ever in doubt, see a doctor.  Larger amounts of blood, blood everytime you cough is a sign of a problem.  Seek medical intention immediately in this case.  Hope you feel better.

  4. You may have Tuberculosis, because coughing up blood happens to be one of the symptoms. I'd visit the doctor just to make sure. Check this website out to see if u have any other symptoms that is related to this disease.

  5. It could be as simple as a sinus infection causing blood to drain and need to be coughed up.  It could also be very serious.  If you see more when you cough again, see a doctor ASAP!
