  1. probably like my son, he doesn't like to eat and he smells like a person ALWAYS on the Atkins diet!

  2. He drinks urine.

  3. acids from  the stomach

  4. could be kidney disease.  talk to the doctor.

  5. lots of different things, the most disconcerting is kidney disease.  he needs to see a doctor, and don't clean his breath in any way before he goes.  doc will want to smell it.

  6. As funny as it sounds he could have a sinus infection.

  7. I heard you can have bad breath if you have cavities. Maybe take him to the dentist.

I know when I was younger the doctor had me breath on his face. He said sour smelling breath meant I was sick. I can't remember what illness it was exactly but I remember thinking it was weird he checked my breathe.

Either way, I would take it seriously. Take him to the doctor and/or dentist.

  8. +Does he still suck a pacifier, thumb or other object? This can cause bad breath.

+GERD (acid reflux) causes bad breath.

+Ammonia breath can be a sign of a kidney problem according to medical websites.

+Sinus infection or something lodged in his nose can cause bad breath.

    Consult your pediatrician.
