  1. Sounds as if the bull gear jumped the heifer shaft and to boot, I believe your blinker fluid is low

  2. the fuel pump  it is in the gas tank.... to check this take the cleaner loose from the intake manifold  pour in one ounce of gas. try to start.. if it starts and runds a few seconds this proves it is the pump ok.

  3. Cars can't pick the day and time they want to stop working. Possible electrical problems? Worst case? Engine timing belt?

  4. A car needs 3 things to run: spark, fuel and air.  It's not getting one of the 3.

Odds are air isn't the problem.  Unless an enormous animal took up residence in your air intake last night than the engine is probably still pulling in air just as well.

Fuel supply is a pretty likely culprit.  How old/how many miles does your car have.  If it's above 120,000 miles or so you may want to get concerned about your fuel pump, (when mine went it just suddenly up and died).  You may also have a clogged fuel filter, (though I doubt that would suddenly prevent your car from starting.  You may be able to check the fuel filter without taking anything apart.  Have someone listen by the trunk of the car (where the fuel tank is) while someone else puts the car ignition to accessory mode.  You should be able to hear the pump charge up to prime the system.  It'll be quiet, but a distinct sound from the gas tank region.

A lack of spark may be difficult to diagnose by yourself if you aren't to fond of working on cars.

  5. Other than the fact that "Insurance & Registration" is not the correct forum for repair/service questions, much less that you omitted potentially important details, such as your vehicle's year, make, model, mileage, last service and date, etc, etc, etc, I can't imagine that you would wait around for strangers on the web to diagnose your vague question rather than call a mechanic, so CALL ONE !!!

    P.S.  "YestUrday"?!?!?
