  1. -Introduce toll roads ( or increase tolls if already in place )

-Introduce city tolls ( like some European cities have done like London for example )

-Increase the amount of public transit available

    -Have dedicated bicycling lanes

    -Increase parking rates

  2. Invest in a good rail/subway system.

  3. make new road or make cars FLY

  4. Nothing I know of hinders traffic as well as road construction.  Having barriers and traffic cones on all my routes makes me drive as little as possible.  Oddly enough, though, it's said that constructing new roads ultimately increases traffic on all surrounding roads...  C'est la vie

    Anyone else see these EVERYWHERE?

  5. Mandatory car pooling. No single drivers excepts for cabs, delivery trucks ect..

Policemen to be under 160 lbs. to conserve fuel, and no AC.

  6. they could raise the cost of parking in downtown and make public transport cheaper..

They could also crete more bike lanes and stuff.

This would encourage more people to leave their cars at home.
