What could happen if we tried to stuff some undies into the fans of a car?

Just as a prank on a friend. Could it possibly cause any harm or damage? We figured it'd just make alot of noise flapping about.. havent tried it yet though..

I'm no machanic, but I would advise against doing it.  That would be a cruel joke if something did happen to his car.
