What could happen if you do not update your address with the Friend of the court?

My son's father moved to a new home about a year ago, and I just found out about it. I want to know what the implications are for him not telling the Friend of the Court, as well as not telling me about it. Which he still has not told me, I just happend to find out because my son slipped and told me. By the way my ex told my son not to tell me. He is 9. What could happen to him, or what kind of trouble could he get into?

Why? Are you trying to get him in trouble? Is he not paying child support? It could be a matter of an honest oversight and the court doesn't go off on anyone for that. Who is the Friend of the court?
