What could i serve as a side dish with honey glazed chicken

I'm making crispy chicken pieces fried until golden brown and delicious and im going to coat it in a thick sweet honey glaze what could i serve with this to make it a complete meal?

  1. WILD RICE SALAD  

    1/2 c. wild rice, cooked

    1/2 c. (20) large pecan halves

    3/4 c. golden raisins, soaked in hot water and drained

    1/3 c. olive oil

    1/4 c. rice wine vinegar

    1/4 tsp. pepper

    1/2 lb. ham

    1/2 c. scallions, thinly sliced

    Cook wild rice according to package directions. While rice is cooking, soak raisins in hot water.

    Whisk together oil, vinegar and seasonings in salad bowl. Add rice and remainin ingredients.




  2. Baby carrots, wax beans, and green beans. Corn casserole and mashed potatoes.

  5. HERB-ROASTED NEW POTATOES

    Yield: 6 Servings

    1 lb 14 oz small red potatoes,

    .unpeeled (or russets)

    1/4 c Chopped fresh basil or 1 tsp

    .dried basil

    1 tb Chopped fresh oregano or 1

    .tsp dried

    1 tb Olive oil

    1/2 ts Salt

    1/4 ts Black pepper

    2 1/4 oz Grated parmesan cheese

    1. Preheat oven to 425F. Cut the potatoes into 6-8 wedges each.

    2. In a large bowl, combine the basil, oregano,oil,salt and pepper.

    Add the potatoes and toss to combine.

    3. Place the potatoes on a nonstick baking sheet and sprinkle with

    parmesan cheese.

    4. Bake for 20-25 minutes of until tender and golden brown.

    VARIATION: Instead of red potatoes, use small Yukon Gold or Finnish

    Yellow potatoes, both of which have yellow flesh. Substitute 2 t.

    chopped dried rosemary for the basil and oregano.

Corn on the cob always goes over well at this Grandpa's house.  I'd serve some sweet potatoes OR cheddar-garlic mashed potatoes with a generous sprinkling of crumbled fried bacon on 'em.  A modest caesar salad to start with if the Reverend's comin' to dinner...heh...Grandma likes it when I cook!

  7. some sort of rice or noodles and definitely a salad maybe mixed veggies that would be good i just got a recipe for a mixed veggie pasta its so simple and now that im thinking about it it would be perfect they called for the rotini pastas a pound 8 ounces of frozen mixed veggies and a tablespoon of olive oil simple

    cook pasta 8-10 min when it gets down to 4 min put in veggies

    when its done add olive oil so the noodles dont stick

    add some salt and pepper to taste

    also if u add a little butter its even better and a little parmisan cheese

    you should give me the recipe for tour chicken it sounds wonderful!
