  1. shorts and a nice shirt...........

  2. Wear a bikini bathing suit but bring some gym stuff for when they tell you to change.

  3. Haha, I'm like you too! XD Well, you should wear very comfortable and movable clothes. A simple fitted t-shirt and  some athletic shorts would be just fine, plus your volleyball gear. DO NOT WEAR JEANS! And shoes you can comfortably move in. I highly reccomend clothes from Ross because they have some sports brand names like Nike and Adidas there for very cheap, so you wouldn't have to worry about them talking about you. :]

Or if you want, you could get clothes from sport brand stores like Nike, Adidas, Footlocker, etc. There's also departments stores like Mervyns, JCpenny, and Macy's. They're a little pricey though.

    Hopefully that helped! :]

  4. umm...it does not matter what u wear just do ur best!♥!♥ i suggest either wearing your school colors or wearing a tee that says somethin about volleyball! also definatly wear long socks so u look like ur a real volleyball player! and dont 4get the knee-pads1good-luck♥

  5. Who cares what they think!!!!  I have been playing v-ball sence the beging of 2006 and gess what the girls who ware brand name clothes didn't  make it but I did.  So just wear what you think will be comfortable to play in and bring a water bottle to stay hidrated!!!!

  6. oh so what if you shop at walmart. i guess they are not your true friends! just wear some biker shorts and a tee shirt and knee pads, and tenne shoes, if you don't have any biker shorts, then use bball shorts.

REMEMBER: ARE THESE KIDS REALLY YOUR FRIENDS, AND GOOD LUCK!!!!!

  7. uhm wear whatever you want, but what I always wear to practice are either spandex, or shorts, and then a loose t-shirt, or i cut the sleeves off of the t-shirt and make it into like a tanktop by tucking the ends under your sports bra, it's really comfy. And then make sure you wear comfortable shoes.

  8. Okay, I'm a volleyball player, and this is what I wear:

    1. Mizuno Spandex (black)

    2. Oversized shirt (Any color, not too big, just so the hem reaches your hip bones)

    3. Long socks (Any color, up to your knees to reduce possibilities of floor burn)

    4. Sports bra ( . . . You get the point, right?)

    5. Knee Pads (Any color, to reduce knee damage when diving)

    6. Shoes (Something with lots of traction and non-mark soles. Try Mizuno, Addidas, etc.)

Hope that helped, good luck w/ your try-out, v-ball's the best!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Mesh shorts or other breathable shorts, a tee shirt, socks, and good sneakers.

  10. wear a loose tshirt like 1 that's from sports tourney's or sumthin.....or like a shirt that's not too shabby and not too fancy. if ur schools like that then really good vball players think there's "wannabe volleyball players" that wear tight shirts, and a bunch of fancy things. gym shorts, long socks, and kneepads

  11. Just wear some gym shorts and either a tanktop or just a t-shirt. Good luck with the tryout

  12. Under armour shorts, Mesh shorts, tank top, knee pads, comfy tennis shoes(a must), a supportive sports bra!

  13. so what

  14. I have tried out for tons of sports teams! The coaches are looking for girls who are not afraid to look comfy. Like, if you went in to the tryouts with a really tight shirt on, and 2-inch long shorts, you will not be comfy, therefore, you will not play your best. So go in with a baggy but not yo baggy shirt and some basketball shorts or sweats, or something of that nature.

  15. Hmm i kinda Know what you mean. I Go to a school wear you have to at least own a pair of nikes or adidas. Or shop at Hollister and all them... i mean ill be honest i wear those clothes and i have nike and adidas but i still shop at Kmart and walmart. So this isnt really answering your Question. but if People have a Problem with what you wear.  i mean if they are your friends theyll understand, but if like they are aqaunitces.. like people u talk to but never hang out with well they should mind their own Business. i hate peole like that... Or i get really annoyed... But like where Shorts.or maybe jogging pants. and a shirt that covers the midsection.since you have to raise ur arms.. anyways hope this helps:)

  16. shorts and a tank or tshirt...its volleyball

  17. spandex and a t-shirt thats what everyone wears to practice, and im with u on im not the skinniest but not the fattest either but a lot of times thats just a lot of muscle w/ some skin, i mean take a look at college players.

  18. just wear Soffe shorts, a school shirt(like chicago high beavers volleyball, or whatever) , and long white socks and knee pads.

  19. Wear name brand stuff that you already own.  I'd say shorts, t-shirt ankle socks and some nice sneakers.

  20. Wear shorts and a tshirt or tank top and a good sports bra.  If you have knee pads wear them, too, but don't worry about them too much if you don't.  I play in a rec league now (used to play both college and high school) and usually wear just spandex volleyball shorts and a sports bra tank.  I don't wear underwear anymore because I find the shorts more comfortable without any, but that's up to you to decide on your own.

If you don't have all the gear already, just wear what you're comfortable wearing to work out.  Keep in mind that the coach will probably have you doing a lot of running and jumping.

  21. a volleyball shirt and spandex shorts make you look like a volleyball player. Otherwise shorts and tee shirt are fine. Tank tops look wimpy. Keep your hair in a ponytail. Running shoes and knee pads are musts!!

  22. A loose t-shirt and some sweatpants. Your going to make the volleyball team on your skill, not from where you buy your clothes at.

  23. if you dont know what to wear dont tryout thats my advice but probably knee pads shorts and a tank top

  24. dnt forget ur knee pads, shorts and teeshirt..

  25. I'VE BEEN OUT FOR VOLLEYBALL SINCE THE SIXTH GRADE. AND THE THING TO WEAR ARE SHORT SHORTS BUT NOT TO SHORT AND A CUT OFF TSHIRT OR JUST A TSHIRT AND V-BALL SHOES AND YOUR KNEE PADS AND USE A HEAD BAND OR BOBBY PINS TO KEEP YOUR BANGS BACK. THIS YEAR I WAS A FRESHMAN AND I MADE JV. SO YOU SHOULD DO GOOD. AND DON'T CARE WHAT THOSE GIRLS THINK OF YOU JUST DO YOUR BEST. AND WHO CARES IF YOU BOUGHT SHORTS FROM WALMART THEY ARE JUST SHORTS. OH AND WHERE LONG SOCKS.

  26. If you have a male coach don't wear a bra, you'll probably make the team no matter how good you are.

  27. I dont know about your school but id say wear shorts and a tee trust me when it gets down to the hard-core sweating youll be glad, if your uncomfortable wearing shorts then wear basketball shorts they cover up and are very airy and comfortable, i wore them throughout this years volleyball season practices at my school, dont worry about what to wear so much it will make you lose focus, focus instead on the game, youll be glad when it comes down to crunch time and your hard work will pay off no matter if your wearing " walmart" , if your games good people will respect you for you and it wont matter what you wear so take a breather and prove to everyone wal-mart rocks!

    good luck!!

  28. if you dont have spandex..then wear some black shorts and just a t-shirt to work out in..put your hair in a bun and if you have bangs put them up..maybe a ribbon to match? if  you make the team..you should really try to get some spandex...good luck!
