What could it be? Preggo? or Just happens?

So here is the situation:

Had s*x around ovulation. Then got my period. 35 day cycle.

Then 2 days later I got brown mucus for 2 days and then light spotting after that. I'm supposed to get my period on the 20th of September...

So my question is:

1. Is the brown mucus old blood? If so then what is the red spotting?

2. Could I just be ovulating? Cause this is the time.

3. Am I Prego? Is it even possible?

2 days later meaning after your period? brown blood & mucus means old blood. if you had your period then you're not pregnant. you wouldn't have spotting until your next period is due so i think it's just old blood or maybe something cause from s*x. you shouldn't be spotting during ovulation-spotting, if any, only comes when your period is due.

It could be fertile bleeding (aka ovulation bleeding) but if you're suppose to get your period around the 20th, than you should be ovulating around the 6th of September so you may have either ovulated earlier then you expected meaning your af will start or be missed earlier or you had mild cervical irritation.

Don't go by ovulation calendars unless your regular.  They assume a regular cycle but most women don't ovulate on the same cycle day every month.  The best way is to check for fertility is by checking your cm or lh surge testing.

Most likely is spotting and you are not pregnant. The time frame you described seems off, if you're only two days into your new cycle you certainly arn't ovulating and should still be bleeding. If it is your ovulation time then it might just be some left over shedding.
