It has gone to civilian court and a deal has been offered, they gave 30 days to respond to the offer. Then today, the military informed that they are taking over jurisdiction. Have no idea what may come.

  1. It means he is in real deep Sh*t...and it happened on Base.

Must have been caught selling or with a very Large amounts...

Anyway you look at it he is going to do Heavy Federal Military Prison Time...

    and a BCD Discharge...

If it is your BF suggest you find a new one he won't be around for 10-15 years...

  2. You need to become familiar with your rights under Article 31(b) of the Uniformed Code of Military Justice, because this case is going to a Courts Martial. From the sounds of it, they're going with either a Special or a General, ...Summary wouldn't give them the result they're looking for. I'm telling you, whomever this case is pertaining to, ...the government of the United States is coming after them with everything they have. Drugs are a very serious issue to the military, and when the government retains jurisdiction it usually means they are dis-satisfied with the way the civilian authorities are handling the case. This is going to be ugly.

  3. It means that the drug case involved both civilians and military members - and it happened both on base/post as well as in the civilian community.  It also means that the local jurisdiction is passing the state charges up to the federal authorities - which means a conviction on these charges means a FEDERAL FELONY CONVICTION.

Yeah, you need legal representation not only soon, you need it YESTERDAY!!

    Good luck!

  4. It means they intend to move forward with a court martial.  You need a military defense attorney, ASAP.

  5. Most likely a discharge of some sort after you go through treatment.
