  1. you need to look up other doctors on the internet take your cat to another  vet to get a second opinion. type in some of the symptoms on google. do some research. i wish you the best of luck!

  2. Time for a second opinion.

  3. the vomiting is making it loose weight.....but you need to find out why it's vomiting.  I would definitely not be asking a question on Y!A and be going to the vet instead.  I wouldn't wait any longer though, honestly!

  4. Umm, could be a infection although, its six months you should take it to the vets again.

  5. I would like to ask you a few questions about this. Does he vomit soon after he has eaten ?  Does he have a good appetite ? I had this problem with my cat when he was 10. Everything on his blood panel looked great. My vet at the time could not find anything wrong. We changed foods we tried reglan we tried antibiotics , nothing worked.  He sent us to a specialist, and she scoped him. He had an ulcer right at the end of his esophagus.

  6. Well my best friends cat started doing this, and they found out that it had kidney problems. You should ask your vet about it. Sorry about this : (

  7. pregnant or take it to the vet

  8. Get another Veterninarian. Something is obviously wrong. Change the food, take a sample of your cat's p**p, yes, even if there is litter on it, and have it examined for parasites. Parasites like worms can happen even in house bound cats. The vet will examine the fecal material under a microscope and if there are worms present, they will give the cat shots and prescribe medications for the cat to be given. This should solve the problem. If not, at least you can rule out worms or parasites as the cause. Do you have any plants or items in the house that the cat is chewing on? Watch, because he / she might be poisoning themselves, and it might not show up in bloodwork.

  9. Take him to a different vet, unless, of course, your vet doesn't know your cat's current physical state.

  10. your vet cant find out? Thats odd...I think it could be caused by his food, have you tried , Innova, Wellness, or Nature's Variety brand? I use to work at a vet office, and anytime there was vomiting and lose of weight was a sign of serious illness...so if the vet has cleared that up, Im wondering what they recommended? If he doesnt eat any dry , try canned food to see how that helps or they also have cat milk at the pet store.

  11. Sorry, I don't know. Maybe you should go visit another vet!!! Sometimes it's better to get second or even third opinion!

  12. I know what you mean. My cat went through the same thing. She died at age 18 (very old for a cat!). We stopped her vomiting by taking her off Fancy Feast.

The vet said to try food with low ash.

We tried the low ash food and she stopped vomiting.

So try giving your cat something with low ash.

    Good Luck!

  13. something happened like this to my dog. The docters never found it until it was to late. tell them to look in its stomack and intestines.

  14. My suspicion is that your cat may have eaten a toxic insect.  If you have access to a vet teaching hospital or school, they may be able to provide the best chances.

  15. There are many diseases that cause a cat to lose weight and vomit.  Your particular veterinarian may not have the knowledge to find the problem.  If you have a veterinarian school in your area, you should consider taking your cat there for more advanced tests.  Vomiting, especially when coupled with diarrhea, can cause dehydration which can be life-threatening if left unchecked.
