What are some fundraisers and items my class could sell to raise money for a field trip? I already thought of a bake sell and making bracelets out of beads. I need tons of more ideas please and if you know how much the stuff cost, feel free to jot that in please. Thanks!

  1. food

labour (ie: do odd jobs, baby sitting etc)

    wash cars

entertainment (ie: sell tickets to a performance you put on)

    hugs

  2. idk if you live along the coast, but glowsticks and glowing electronics sell out at night at the beach

  3. Have an Auction using food, working for money, things that people donate, have your school and church donate!

  4. Gold Canyon candles offers fundraisers that offer 38-40% profit from the sale of candles.  Each seller will be given a rub-to-discover pamphlet to help customers choose their scent and therefore smell before they buy.  It's pretty easy to do and raises a pretty good amount of money when you consider you can earn up to $8.80 per candle profit - versus about $0.50 per candy bar profit if you did a candy-bar fundraiser

If you'd like more information please just ask :)  I wish you much luck in your fundraising!!!

  5. Hold a car wash at the most local and most traveled place in town such as a food store or gas station ,police department, firehouse, or even the school. They will usually let you use their water hookup free since you are raising money for school. $3-$5 is a good fee to charge as long as you also clean the windows inside too.

Magazines - but you would have to have the school set that up with a dristributer , and they will agree on how much they sell for and what the precentage the class gets.

With the holidays coming up , wrapping paper, gift tags, cards, ornaments, decorations, and small gifts. Again the school would have to set this up just the same way as the Magazines.

Hold dances every friday for 2 months for teens , the JVC'S , VFW, Churches, Firehouses , even having them outdoors at the local shopping center in a large corner of their lots are all places that have allowed school dances , they will have all the equipment for you to set up a dj to play music and you can sell soda and chips. A $3 fee to attend the daces , and the soda and chips would be figured on what they cost by the case, and you can call a local distributer and they may be willing to donate some of the products free. You can have a dj or a local band come and play and they might do it for free.

You can hold a Halloween Fair for the younger kids , and have it at the school and the school will set the guidelines and prices and all the rest.

Depending on when the field trip is , you can make up fliers offering to do yard work for the senior citizens. $5 to mow the lawn , $3 to rake the yard , $5 dollars to clean the gutters,$5-$10 to wash all their windows before winter,$10 to cleanout and straighten their garage or

basements and attics, or $25-$40 to do the whole list, and you do it as a group, come winter , $10 to shovel their driveways and sidewalks.

You can hold a rumage sale with items donated by perents , stores, even people who make crafts and set prices from as low as $.25-$10.00 depending on what it is.

A Christmas gift fair where kids can shop and buy gifts for their families

Things like this the PTA can help you with and set prices.

Craft fairs for kids to make things for their families using donated items and charging $3-$5 to attend instead of by what they would have to pay for each item.Again the PTA can help.

A pet wash, like a car wash but for pets, for $3-$5 and do it just as you would the carwaash.

Babysitting, that is always a good way to make money too.

I hope these have been helpful
