You can not touch the thorns of a flower because it will hurt you its the thing that keeps the flower safe! Basically it's like respecting the flower.

What we can learn from it is that you respect others/animal/Allah's creation and don't do any harm to them because they have done no harm to you.

I have the same point of you.....Lets compare the rose and its thorns to the actual life and paradise.....

To get paradise, I mean if youreally want paradise, to must go into some difficulties....But then, when you get into paradise, Inshallah, You forget about the difficulties, and just experince the eternal bliss.....

I see it in two ways:

1. To reach any thing beautiful one has to go through these throns( To get the pleasure of Allah one has to strive in life by many ways).

2. Not everything beautiful, is really in that form( the way to Shar (evilness could be beatiful but in reality it is not).

i believe that they tell us that where there is happiness,there is pain also.but if we see a flower,even though it has thorns on it,still it always stay bright & cheerful inspite of the fact that they know they have thorns on it.similarly,if we see thorns,they teach us 'determination' lol..though in a different & 'bad' way but still they tell us that they know they wont stay for long but still they dont give up,till the end they keep on sticking to that flower..

A believer sees the flower and not it's thorns. A hypocrite sees the thorns and never sees the beauty of the flower.

An intelligent man  entering a rose garden admires it's beauty. A pig sees nothing but the garbage around.

I mean every rose has its thorn,  we all must admire the beauty (good) in a person and just not be lookers at his thorns alone. But there are some who have only thorns in them which we should never look at (hate). Like wise there are those who are flowers in nature which we must keep it to our bosom (love).
