Im going on holiday for a week. Im at a loss as to how my 15 month old daughter is going to sleep. Travel cots are getting too small and not very comfy for a week. What else could I do? She is too small for a proper bed really and Im worried she will fall out. Any suggestions?

  1. She can sleep with you in your bed.

Pull the cushions off the couch and put them on the floor.

Fold up a quilt or sleeping bag to her size and put it on the floor for her to lie on.

You know for most of the history of homo sapiens we had to live in a cave or under a bush, I'm sure with the resources that we have available today that you will be able to use your ingenuity to come up with something.

    Edit

That's alright sweetheart, I did make some suggestions but if none of those suited you I'm glad that I could at least encourage you to to think for yourself. I hope you and your daughter have a lovely holiday :-)

  2. We went on holiday when our daughter was 16 months and we thought she would be too small for a single bed but she was absolutely fine.  We got a spare duvet and pillows and put then on the floor incase she fell out but she didn't and she absolutely loved it.

  3. See if you can borrow or hire some bars that fit on the side of childrens single beds to stop them falling out. Unless she is quite tall though, I dont think a travel cot would be too small for her really.

  4. I would just take a playpin for her to sleep in they can fold up to be very small (that's what I use)

  5. Let her sleep with you!  If there will be two adults, just put your toddler in between you.

Otherwise, I know that inflatable bolster rails are sold over here in the states, perhaps something similar exists where you live.
