What could the consiquenses be if someone teepeed my house and painted all over the windows/sidewalk?

It's all cleaned up practically, but we have photo evidence.

the only stuff thats left is th permanent paint they left.

i have a way to catch them i think, they left trash like paint cotainers and tp cases, and a shopping bag from the local drugstore. could i get the police to check out the surveilance tapes to see who bought 2 cases of tp and alot of paint? they painted on windows which already came off, but it will need to be sandblasted off the sidewalk. they ****** with our cars too and the front door.

Normally the police should be able to apprehend those responsible so they can be prosecuted for vandalism and forced to pay for the clean up.

They have no right to do that and are responsible for restoring the damage done
