I've never heard of having to take a written test for a daycare?

But i assume they might test you on how you deal with children, how you would interact with them and safety issues.

Examples:  

-How would you deal with children who are fighting?

-How do you get a child to interact with the children.

-Test you on safety such as first aid and what to do when a child is sick.  

-They might also ask how you would interact with the children on a daily basis.

it could be anything since the way you interact with children to  the knowledge you have about childrens regulations, I mean how you can put in practice the theory . Just have a look to  your manual on children´s services in your place. And think about the places you have being practice.
