Last night I was awoken with the most excrutiating pain. It started on the left hand side low down in my belly and moved right across to the right. It lasted about a minute then went away and came back a few minutes later. I felt like a needed the loo but when I went didnt pass anything. The pain then subsided.

Ive gotten this pain a few times a few years ago but not of recent.

Anyone got any idea what it could be?

Thanks

  1. I think I read somewhere that appendicitis shows itself from pain on the left hand side and then it goes to the middle. Sometimes you feel sick or are sick. Even though the appendix is on the right hand side.

There is a bowel trouble which gives pain on the left. I can't remember what it's called. I know irritable bowel syndrome is on the right.

See your doctor for all the right advice.

    Good luck

  2. i would ring your doctor

  3. Could just be trapped wind that passed. If your concerned see your GP.

  4. YOU NEED TO MAKE A DOCTOR APPOINMENT TODAY YOUR GO TO EMERNCGY ROOM NOW HAVE YOUR MOM YOUR FRIEND TAKE YOU TO HOSPITAL?

  5. Appendicitis it could be 'rumbling' , please seek Drs help just now, ring them for advice, they may like to examine you.

Have you been through something stressful this week?(a trigger)

As its also similar to Irritable Bowel -same type of painful bowel contractions done this to me. I was doubled up in agony for 2 days, and it was awful .

I got antispasmodics after she felt my abdomen and then listened to my intestines with a stethoscope which she heard audibly rumbling (I was not hungry though) . take care.
