  1. first of all, how old are you? have you started getting your period yet? usually a brown discharge will appear at the end of a period, its blood that has started drying. but, just out of the blue, it could be an infection, they dont always have an odor or pain. how much discharge is there? panty liner or pad? and dont use tampons if youre not sure what is going on, they could make things worse.

  2. Probably your very first period, or if you have already started then just a very light period.

    Congrats!

(nothing is wrong with you dont worry)

  3. Could be your first period.  Could be you are spotting getting ready for your period..

    .

    This should help you decide.

Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge (mucous) is normal. The v****a is self-cleaning. You will also have your own 'scent' (musky) and it will smell stronger to you than to others. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away.

    Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your v****a. Old blood looks brown.  Sometime even your period will be more brown in color and this kind of spotting can happen just before your period.
