well about 2 months ago i pulled my groin muscle (not my private area pervs) and it still hasn't gotten better and for a month i hardly walked at all...and now soccer has started back and i stretch it like no one has before and it still kills it to kick and when im playing defense i gotta bomb it to our forwards and our field is HUGE!!!so what could this mean??

  1. consult with a doctor. or it could of been severely injured from playin futbol so much


  2. you could have done something to your disc's or you could have snapped a tendant, see are doctor right away! because if you snapped a tendant surgury is needed. In the mean time try not to "work it" alot if something is painful DONT DO IT  

  3. Have you seen a doctor? You might have done more damage than you think! You might need therapy to recover.

  4. Sounds like you need to rest it. Here in Scotland there was a bad spate of groin injuries and ruptures among pros about 10 years ago. Games are played on turf and the main cause seemed to be training on artificial surfaces, which are very firm. Training routines have changed since then.

    Nowadays, you still read of pros still playing but having to go in for an op sooner or later. The only alternative seems to be a rest of a few weeks.

    So, in your case, looks like cause is playing or training on firm surfaces. You probably need a rest -- if you play on, you may end up needing an op.

    But your team physio or personal doc will be able to tell you more.
