We have a 2001 Ford Windstar Lx. When driving. Towards the left sliding door you can hear a noise. It sounds like coins being shook in a can. Not very loud though. I noticed that the weatherstripping around the door has a slight tear, could this be the cause of the noise?

  4. i think it is gravel in your rocker panel or maybe in your hubcap or maybe the w stripping flapping in the wind.

  5. hi, the noise sounds like your catalytic converter is broken from the inside take it to the muffler shop to get it check and replaced because it wont pass smog if it is broken. About the weather strip the answer is no when driving if the weather strip is torn your would get a bad draft of wind . hope this was helpful
