What couldve caused sudden sickness?

Question

a few days ago I got a sudden severe throbbing headache in the back of my head and also a high fever. It lasted for less than 48 hours. I was very tired and just slept all day. I also was a bit disoriented and didn't have much of an appitite. I ate fast food the night b4 but I did not vomit. I took antibiotics and it went away. Has any one else ever had this? Do anyone know what caused this suddenly?? Help!!
