  1. Actually, only Cuba (U.S.embargo). And Cuba doesnt ban Americans, US bans Americans. But theres lots of ways yo get around that, especially since Cuba doesnt even stamp US Passports.  You actually can visit North Korea legally, but you can only do it through a closely watched tour group such as Asia Pacific Travel Ltd. in Chicago. Lots of paper work though

  2. You must be licensed to travel to Cuba and probably some other countries which are not friendly with the USA.  Here is a list of countries which have travel warning, given by the State Department:

If some countries ban Americans, I wouldn't know where to find them.  I know that North Korea does not appreciate uninvited guests.

  3. I don't think any.....

Banned by the other country maybe but I think that an American could travel to Cuba or NK from another country just not directly from the US

  4. Cuba is one.

  5. There is no country in the world that out right bans americans from entry however America has a travel advisory list where travel warnings are issued to describe long-term, protracted conditions that make a country dangerous or unstable. A Travel Warning is also issued when the U.S. Government's ability to assist American citizens is constrained due to the closure of an embassy or consulate or because of a drawdown of its staff. The countries listed below meet those criteria.
