What countries are in involved in the allied powers in WW 1?

The main WW I Allies (Entente Powers or The Triple Entente)  were France, the Russian Empire, the British Empire, Italy and the United States. France, Russia, the United Kingdom entered World War I in 1914, as a result of their Triple Entente alliance. Many other countries later joined the Allied side in the war (see detailed list below). The Allied forces defeated the Central Powers, led by the Austro-Hungarian, German, and Ottoman Empires.

edit: LUKE, Croatia couldn't have taken part in the WWI because it didn't exist at the time. It was part of the collapsing Austro-Hungarian Empire. Same goes for Czechoslovakia.
