  1. Italy invaded Ethiopia.

Ancient Rome conquered Carthage, Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Britain, Spain, France,

  2. Did they intermarry?  It likely happened in Ethiopia, as the famous Italian actress (you have to go back to Sophia Loren's heyday), Claudia Cardinale, was born there.  In Libya it is doubtful, as all of Italian heritage were forced back to Italy.

(Also, add to countries colonized by Italy in 20th century - Greece, as Italy held Rhodes and the Ionian islands; and parts of France in the Rhone valley.)

  3. I take it that you're not asking about Rome, right?

    Ethiopia, Eritrea, Libya, and Somalia.

I don't know, but suspect, that some Italians did intermarry with the locals and lived in the colonies.

  4. Libya

    Italian Somaliland

    Ethiopia

    Eritrea

    Rhodes

    Tientsin, China (concession)

During WWII, Mussolini annexed Albania, British Somaliland, and part of Slovenia.
