  1. new zealand does??????

  2. Denmark is supposedly one of the most environmentally-friendly country. I can believe it too, because millions of people choose to ride bikes there everyday, rather than drive. Copenhagen is jam-packed with bikes and there are more roads for bikes than for cars. Danish people don't even lock their bikes up!

  3. You may different answers depending on whether you are referring to largest area or largest percentage of a country.

In any case, the answer relating to strictest 'conservation' of lands that would otherwise be needed for economic reasons is almost certainly the US. While many other undeveolped countries have large areas that are nominally 'protected' the reality is that they are only that way because the economics/mobilization has not yet made the lands ready for exploitation. The vast majority of the thrid world has no real concern for the environment vis a vis  profit.

  4. I would guess that the island of Seychelles is in the running with around 50% of their land protected.

Read the news article in the Green Home Blog on the following site:

  5. I'd say the 3rd. world....places like Brixton, Dublin, San Leandro, CA, and most of Eastern France.

  6. Australia?!!! They do protect their marine wildlife!

    Not sure anyway. Good day.
