  1. Can I just point out that Britain uses a constitutional monarchy, where the Queen (Gawd Bless 'er ! ) is just a token head of state. Unlike Saudi Arabia, which is much more of an absolute monarchy in which all the power lies in the hands of the monarchy. Wouldn't want anyone to think we were the same sort of country.

  2. Wikipedia offers a list of 63 monarchies:

However, this list doesn't include monarchies within republics. Uganda for example is a republic, but President Museveni re-established four kingdoms that had been abolished by the dictator Obote. Museveni realized that for the stability of the country the traditional kingdoms contribute an invaluable part. Other African Monarchies within republics can be found in Benin, West Africa, or Ghana, where the famous Ashanti Kingdom flourishes.

  3. Denmark

    Sweden

    Belgium

    Holland

    Spain

    Luxembourg

    Norway

    Monaco

    Liechtenstein

    Non European monarchical

    Nepal

    Cambodia

    Japan

    Malaysia

    Lesotho

    Swaziland

    Morocco

    Tonga Island

    Saudi Arabia

    Kuwait

    Oman

    Jordan

  4. Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand.

Canada and most of the rest of the british commonwealth have the queen of england as their head of state. I believe she is queen of 14 or so countries.

  5. Also, Spain and Luxembourg.
